Connect your Salesforce account

Connect your own Salesforce account to Alcova, check that the connection still works, and reconnect or disconnect it.

Your organisation's Salesforce integration links Alcova to your firm's CRM. Each person also connects their own Salesforce account. You need a working connection to sync meeting notes to Salesforce.

Before you start

The Salesforce Integration page appears only when your organisation uses Salesforce with Alcova. If your organisation does not have a CRM integration, or uses Dynamics 365, the page does not appear in your settings.

You need a Salesforce login for your firm's Salesforce.

Open Salesforce Integration

  1. Open Settings. See Open settings.

  2. Under Features, select Salesforce Integration.

Reconnect an expired connection

This removes only your own Salesforce connection. You cannot sync meeting notes to Salesforce until you connect again.

If something goes wrong

  • Failed to connect Salesforce: Alcova could not start the Salesforce sign-in. Select Connect or Reauthorize again.
  • Failed to disconnect Salesforce: your account is still connected. Try again, or contact support.
  • If the card still says Not connected a minute after you signed in to Salesforce, refresh the page.
